The Different Types of Pokémon, their hold-items, and some Specific hold-items

Hello guys, this is Mikhail Perlas again and today I'm showing you the different types of Pokémon, their hold-items, some specific Pokémon hold-items, and the Type Matchup List.

First of all, all Pokémon have different types. These are:
The 19 types of  Pokémons

Normal- It could be classified as the weakest type. However, there are many Pokémon of this type.
Fighting- It is mostly masculine and is always in a cave. It is strong.
Flying- Almost all of the Flying Pokémon have dual type. Mostly these Pokémon know how to use the HM Fly.
Poison- It is with a huge advantage due to its stink. Has no fingers.
Ground- Ground-type Pokémon have a weak HP but their ATTACK and DEFENSE stats are huge.
Rock- Many Gym Leaders like this type due to it's high DEFENSE and SP. DEF which is used to block a lot of moves.
Bug- A Pokémon that is easy to raise and fast to evolve but low on HP due to its small sizes.
Ghost- Pokémon that are ghostly and have a lot of advantage, however weak to the same type and Dark-type Pokémon.
Steel- It always has the advantage of HP, DEFENSE, and SP. DEF but weak to Fire and Ground.
Fire- A Pokémon type that is rare to see but its stats are worth it. It is also one of the starter-type Pokémon.
Water- It has a lot of species due to the very rich nature of water in each region, has advantage in SP. ATK and SP. DEF. It is also one of the starter-type Pokémon.
Grass- Grass-type Pokémon have a lot of HP and is easy to raise, however  most of these Pokémon have the type Poison. It is also one of the starter-type Pokémon.
Electric- Most of the Electric types have the ability "Static" which paralyzes the attacker when touched by a physical move. Paralysis causes Pokémon to have lower SPEED and sometimes can't attack.
Psychic- It is mostly a human Pokémon that has been transformed. Examples of this are Mew, Mewtwo, Kadabra, Jynx and Alakazam. Psychic-type Pokémon have high IQ which could make more powerful moves than a regular one.
Ice- A Pokémon that is hard to smash and defeat just like the Steel-type, but its advantage is ATTACK and SP. ATK.
Dragon- Considered the most powerful type among all Pokémon. Dragon-type Pokémon have all high stats, but hard to raise.
Dark- It is a type that has advantages with Ghost and Psychic, however it is low on HP and ATTACK.
Fairy- A new type that's been discovered recently, Fairy-type Pokémon mostly deals with a duo type such as Normal, Psychic, and Water. It is an elemental type.
???- A type that hasn't been discovered to any Pokémon but mostly deals with Ghost-type moves.
One example of it is the "Curse" which cuts the user's HP to half and lays a curse to the opponent (Only deals with Ghost). If used by another type, the user's SPEED falls while its ATTACK and DEFENSE sharply rises.
THE TYPE MATCHUP CHART

Now let's discuss the Type Matchup List. Type Matchup is a kind of chart that specifies which is weaker than that or stronger than that. It also discuss the Defense of each type when another type is attacking. The Chart List is below:
NOTE: This chart is Attack to Defense (Attack-Left, Defense-Upper Portion)
Legend:
Red Colored tiles - 1/2x damage received (Its not very effective)
Green Colored tiles - 2x damage received (Its super effective)
Black Colored tiles - 0x damage received (It doesn't affect the foe)
White Colored tiles - 1x damaged received (Normal)

This doesn't include if the Pokémon's type is dual. If a Pokémon's type is two, it still works with this chart but sometimes adding or subtracting is needed to know how much damage would it get.
For  example a Beautifly (a Bug, Flying-type Pokémon) is fighting an Oodish (a Grass, Poison-type Pokémon) since the Pokémon with the most speed gets the first attack, let's just say that Beautifly has the advantage. Let me show you a picture.
Beautifly attacking Gust
Since my Beautifly has the advantage, his moves are: Morning Sun (Normal), Mega Drain (Grass), Poison Sting (Poison), Gust (Flying).
Since Morning Sun takes the attack for itself (Healing Type), and Oodish's type is Grass, Posion, Poison Sting will not be effective because Poison vs. Poison is 1/2 and Posion vs. Grass takes 2x damage which will be equal to 1 damage. For  Beautifly's Mega Drain which is a Grass-type move, the calculation would be like this: Grass vs. Posion is 1/2 and Grass vs. Grass is 1/2 again so it would be 1/4 which is   not very effective. For Gust is effective to Grass, and normal damage to Poison, I think it would be the best attack.
Oodish using Acid

In this picture, my opponent's moves are unknown but since its attacks are random he/she wouldn't know advantages. The wild Oodish attacked my Beautifly Acid which is a Poison-type attack and could lower DEFENSE. The calculation would be like this: Poison vs. Bug is 1 or normal, then Poison vs. Flying is also normal so it would be 2x damage overall.

Now let's use the Type Matchup Strategy to get yourself a better trainer. Next topic is their hold items. All Pokémon types (except Fairy and ???) have different hold-items that boosts 25% or 50% of a Pokémon's move-type. For example a Pikachu's electric-type moves would be boosted by 25% if it holds a MAGNET, making it more powerful.

The hold-items are as follows:

Black Belt = Fighting-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Black Glasses = Dark-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Charcoal = Fire-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Dragon Fang = Dragon-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Hard Stone = Rock-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Magnet = Electric-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Metal Coat = Steel-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Miracle Seed = Grass-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Mystic Water = Water-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Never-melt Ice = Ice-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Poison Barb = Poison-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Sharp Beak = Flying-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Silk Scarf = Normal-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Silver Powder = Bug-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Soft Sand = Ground-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Spell Tag = Ghost-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%
Twisted Spoon = Psychic-type Pokémon moves boosted to 25%

Lastly is the Pokémon Specific Hold-items. Some Pokémon have their own hold-item (mostly when animated holding something) like Stick or Soul Dew. It raises the specific Pokémon stat.
The following items are as follows:

Light Ball = Pikachu's hold-item that raises his/her SP. ATK. It is a ball full of energy.
Metal Powder = Ditto's hold-item that raises it's DEFENSE. It is a violet powder from some sort of DNA test.
Thick Club = Cubone's or Marowak's hold-item that raises his/her ATTACK. It is a bone that contains sadness.
Stick = Farfetch'd's hold-item that raises his/her CRITICAL HIT-RATIO. It is a single small leek.
Lucky Punch = Chansey's hold-item that raises her CRITICAL HIT-RATIO. It is a boxing glove.
Soul Dew = Latios' or Latias' hold-item that raises his or her ATTACK. It is an orb containing life.

Today you already know how the Type Matchup goes, the different types of Pokémon, their hold-items, and some specific hold-items. Next time, you will learn the basics of the adventures and the adventures of Pika in Kanto and Hoenn. Once again, this is Mikhail Perlas, I hope I solved some of your Pokémon Problems, Good Luck, and have a nice day. 😉😉😉

How to get 3 Starter Pokémons in Kanto and Hoenn

Hello guys, this is Mikhail Perlas and I'm here today teach you how to get the three starter Pokmon in FireRed/LeafGreen in Kanto and Emerald in Hoenn. I've only showing you these games because the GEN II and below games are in black and white colors and its kind of boring. Now let's start. First of all, you only have two choices in getting the starters both with advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, is by trading with yourself, when you trade you should have at least 2 Pokémon and is only possible until you reached the 2nd town. The advantage is you get yourself the 3 starter Pokémon, and a boosted experience. The bad thing is, if you trade Pokémon, and you don't have any badges or anything to give your Pokémon high friendship, its either it won't obey, it would hurt itself, or it will take a nap and won't wake up.

As you can see in the picture, my Pokémon Mew (nicknamed Mew the I) won't obey to me because I don't have enough Gym Badges and Mew doesn't seem to win some battles. By the way Gym Badges are special badges got from a Gym Leader in a specific town. Once you collect 8 different badges you can enter the Pokémon League but that topic will be in my future posts. Anyway, Gym Badges have different effect once, you get them, for example: "A Boulder Badge could make Pokémon Lvl. 20 and below obey you, even those you got in trade. It will also boost the ATTACK of your Pokémon". Back to the topic. Trading yourself causes you a lot of effort to switch two GBA one another but it it worth it. The other one is cheating. Cheating, of course has only 1 to 2 effects, but its "bugs" could be a lot. Cheating in Pokémon could start in many ways: Buying in Pokémart different things for the worth  ₱0 (the ₱ there is not Peso but it is Poké. Poké is the currency in the Pokémon World), getting legendary Pokémon without effort, getting through walls, and many more.
The disadvantages of cheating could be: having a Bad EGG, Glitch, Pokemon Corrupted, Not having the proper use of some items, and Malfunctioning of the game.
In the picture above, this is some of the bad effects when using cheats, although it could be resolved when doing something right, disabling cheats, or continuing with your adventure. BAD EGGS looks like normal eggs but BAD EGGS could be used in battle and if fainted your game stops and it is unusable and if it is hatched, the game also stops so it is really bad. It just takes a space if it is in the PC and over 350+ Pokémon are in the Hoenn Region and Kanto Region (both in NATIONAL DEX). Back to the topic. I prefer cheating the game then trade it to the another game so you can enjoy the game without using any cheats.

The Kanto Region Starter Pokémons are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, and the starters in the Hoenn Region are Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. You can only choose 1 starter per game and your rival has tha advantage in the starter for example, your starter is Torchic, a fire type-Pokémon, then your rival has the Mudkip, a water, ground type-Pokémon which has the advantage. If I were you, when you start to choose your starter and you want them all, you should choose your favorite type then, patiently save the game, go to a Pokémon Center 2nd floor (where you could trade, battle with your friends) you go to the Direct Corner (the right side) and save the game there, reset the game, click "New Game" and wait for it to let you choose the Pokémon and choose another one (the one you didn't choose) and do the same procedures.
Bulbasaur is my choice in the Kanto Starter
Torchic is my choice in the Hoenn Starter
In the first picture (Kanto) I chose Bulbasaur because I like its power and easiness to raise. In the second picture (Hoenn) I chose Torchic because I like its cuteness and if it is in its final stage it become Blaziken (a fire, fighting type-Pokémon) that is strong. After you chose that go to the Pokémon Center 2nd Floor and start trading with yourself.
As you can see, there are two trainer that are trading in order to complete their Pokédex and to complete their goal: To catch them all!!!

Now you know how to trade Pokémon, how to get the starters in Kanto and Hoenn, the effects of Cheating and Trading, and you know already what Pokémon I prefer. So please stay tune to know the latest updates. My next topic is Pokémon Types and their Hold-Items, and the Special Hold-Items.
Thank you everyone and I hpe this would solve your Pokémon Problems. Good Luck 😃

My Story About Helping You Guys!

Hello guys, this is Mikhail Perlas but I also like the name "Pikalicous". Anyways I'm here to help you solve your Pokémon problemsPokémon or Pocket Monsters are creatures in the Pokémon world, they can be used for battling, helping, and mostly for adventure. Pokémon is the first anime cartoon series that lasted about 20 years starting from 1997. Pokémon are not tools but could make friends with them to obey you. Startinng this day, I will give you tips in catching them, raising them, and to fight with them. Although I played Pokémon games and sidegames until GEN III, I loved them sincc I was 5 yrs. old and memorized every corner of the game.

My favorite game is the Pokémon Emerald Version which is the first game in the Generation III in Hoenn Region. Hoenn Region is one of the 8 regions in the whole Pokémon game. Their alphabetical order is as follows Kanto, Johto, Orange Islands, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola Region. Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn are the only games I've played (because the Orange Islands haven't produced yet the game and was cancelled) and they're a lot of fun. You catch, trade, and have fun with your adventures with your Pokémon and in the game you are the hero. There is also one sidegame I kept on the sidegame: Pokémon Red Rescue Team:Mystery Dungeon because it's ending is too good but it's too hard to play because it's too much adventurous.

Anyways, I will start to help you by posting some pictures in my posts about where to find some hard to catch Pokémons, legendary ones, and some trades. Also, I will help you in some items that is too good to have and the basics of adventures. Your best Pokémon to have in your party and have fun everyone!!!
